Howdy Collectors!
Beginning in mid-October, 2007, I am making some pretty big changes to the web site. As you can see above, I am splitting cowboyparts.com into two distinctly separate sites. Repro parts will still be sold on MyHartlands.com, along with my sets, literature, accessories and so forth. Don't panic! All the good old information about Hartlands will still be available at HartlandWesterns.com. Please add these links to your Favorites and let other collectors know about the changes.

The old bulletin board is now closed, but if you still want to talk about Hartlands, or ask questions, you might want to visit Charles Seab's web site at eHartlands.com. I will post there once in a while, too.

Quite a few people were wondering what is going on. After 15 years of collecting and roughly 10 years of building this site, I feel the need to move in another direction, namely photography. You can visit my web site at TetonImages.com if interested. I hope to use some of the proceeds from the sale of my sets to purchase some new equipment and also help pay for kids in college.

Many people helped me build the site by supplying photos, scans, and a wealth of information. After the site was down for a few days, I was flooded with shocked collectors wanting to know what to do now? I was told it sent shock waves throughout the collecting community. While I'd love to sell the site intact to another dedicated collector, I reposted all the old information on the new domain. I believe the information will be safe and available for a long time. As always, the site is FREE to use. It is the single most comprehensive resource around on the topic, consisting of hundreds of pages and thousands of photos and scans.

I haven't found the extra time to sell my sets as quickly as I had originally planned, so I still have most of them. As I find the time and energy I'll list a few more, but I can also say it is nice to still get to enjoy the collection a while longer. Around Christmas of 2008, I had quite a few orders for parts, and the income certainly helped out. I decided to add the repro parts back into the site for a while longer. If you need parts, let me know or look over this page: Repro Parts. Please note, selling individual pistols, knives and the small orders end up costing me more money in time and energy than they were worth. I now have a $50 minimum on all orders. Sales with Visa and Mastercard must be at least $100.

Happy collecting,
Mike Jackson
